Life at this point

I miss my sister. I miss being silly and laughing all the time.
The time difference between LA and Boston drives me mad. Esp. since cell phone minutes are only free after 9pm, which is 12am Boston time. Luckily my boyfriend and I both have Verizon, so we can talk whenever we want. I wish my family had it to, because I want to talk to them during the weekday. My bill was triple the usuall last month and Verizon refused to give me a break. Most of the calls that went over were between me and my family.
A few of my friends have recently moved to LA to do the same program I did at Emerson, but I haven't seen them yet. I'm sure they're just as confused and stressed as I was.
I found out yesterday that I'm graduating with Latin honors, Magna Cum Laude, which means I have a certain GPA (3.71). "Magna" is better than "cum laude" (3.45 and 3.64) but not as good as "summa cum laude" (3.85 and above). Oh well.
I search craigslist everyday to see if their are any quick jobs or paid focus groups, I need money! I want to buy a Mac so I can start editing during my (limited) free time.
I designed a website for videotaping events, in the hopes someone will hire me. That would be a great way to make extra money on the weekends to save up, and to feel productive.
I found a futon for $15 on craigslist, so now there's something more between me, the mattress, and the floor. It made me very happy. I look forward to going to bed every time I wake up in the morning. I just get so tired waking up at 8am, even when I go to bed at 10:30pm.
Work at Veritasiti is going pretty well. It's basically my time to do things on a computer/online. It's relaxing and I need this. I still havent started writing. I got my first direct deposit pay check today for $172...I think that was just for the 3 days I did last week...which added up to about 17 hours...so thats a little over $10 day with taxes, not bad.
I've been babysitting as well, actually nannying, which was been a bit stressful. I pick the children up from school, bring them home, play, clean the house, make dinner, supervise baths, and leave. 5 hours a day. The parents have strict rules that I'm not used to, so I feel like there's always something I'm not doing right...probably because either the kids or the parents often correct me. It's not easy, but I need the money. Also, the parents are film producers and I hope maybe I'll learn something from them or they'll help me out.
